Derrick Kam (Singapore) aims to promote singing to the masses through his work as an Educator, Arts Administrator, Advocate and Performer.
Within the contemporary A Cappella community, he is prominently known as the leader of a local pop-jazz vocal group, Acappuccino, and an advocate for the Singapore A Cappella scene where his involvement goes as far as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea. He is also the Chief Editor of The VoiceBox, a non-profit platform for the A Cappella community to share the spotlight.
Also the director of various school choirs, Derrick works actively with students of all ages and hopes to inspire a future generation of confident choral music enthusiasts and performers who are passionate about choral literature as well as the performance elements of it.
