ARRANGEMENTS
for choirs
- Feng Yang Song (Anhui Province song) (SA + piano)
for contemporary a cappella groups
- Landslide (opb. Fleetwood Mac) (SSATBB, Solo)
While transcribing The Backbeats, I decided to take a different turn and rearrange the piece to fit my own group. Good for male or female solo. - Let Me Entertain You (opb Robbie Williams) (SSATB+VP)
- Bless the Broken Road (opb. Rascal Flatts) (SSATBB)
Baritones and Basses are given the challenge to work on the groove together, eliminating the need for a rhythms section. - Just the Way You Are + Blank Space (opb. Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift) (SSAA, flex. SATB+VP)
Mash-ups are still cool if only done well, so simple was the only way to go. Originally used as a training piece for A Cappella 101, this mash-up proved to be easy for the ears to catch and open enough for students to do ad-libs if you have a bigger group. - I Knew You Were Trouble (opb Taylor Swift) (SSAB + VP)
- Love Me Like You Do (opb. Ellie Goulding) (SATB + VP)
*These arrangements can be performed by a choir though a lack of vocal percussions will cause a “less fuller sound” where the rhythm section tends to fill in. There are creative ways to get around this, do contact me and we can discuss how to make this work for your choir if you’re at a loss.
for show choirs
- Flashlight (opb. Jessie J) (SSA, with minor divisi)
- Bang Bang (opb. Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj) (SSA)
** This piece is not available at the current moment. Note that this piece has lyrics edited and comes without the rap segment to be school and family friendly. - Rather Be (opb. Clean Bandit, feat. Jess Glynne) (SAT, with divisi)
*Show Choir arrangements come with instrumental tracks
